MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release aims at correcting fascial tension and its restrictions and restoring its normal motion. Fascia is all of the connective tissue that holds bodies together. Your fascia can tighten, thicken and inhibit its ability to move together with the body and its muscles. This may be due to misuse, overuse, inactive muscles, poor biomechanics and general muscle tightness. Myofascial release uses gentle pressure applied at varying directions and angles directly to the tissue restrictions in order to reduce muscle pain and restore motion.
